2. Inoculation of cast iron: This is based on gray cast iron, which is made of “modified treatment”, also known as metamorphic cast iron. Its strength, plasticity and toughness are much better than ordinary gray cast iron, and the structure is more uniform. Mainly used to manufacture large castings with high mechanical performance requirements and large changes in cross-sectional dimensions

3. Malleable cast iron: Malleable cast iron is made of white cast iron with a certain composition through graphitization annealing, which has higher toughness than gray cast iron, also called ductile cast iron. It cannot be forged, it is commonly used to make castings that withstand impact loads

4. Ductile iron: Referred to as ductile iron. It is obtained by adding a certain amount of spheroidizing agent and ink agent to the molten iron to promote the crystallization of spherical graphite. Compared with steel, except for its low plasticity and toughness, its other properties are close. It is an excellent material with the advantages of steel and cast iron, and is widely used in mechanical engineering.

5. Special performance cast iron: This is a kind of cast iron with certain characteristics. According to different uses, it can be divided into wear-resistant cast iron, heat-resistant cast iron, corrosion-resistant cast iron, etc. Most of them belong to alloy cast iron and are widely used in mechanical manufacturing
